A compact 3-in-1 environmental sensor for Arduino and Raspberry Pi, measuring temperature, humidity, and air pressure over I2C/SPI.

View full details

The BME280 sensor module measures temperature, barometric pressure, and humidity with solid accuracy in a tiny footprint, making it a go-to environmental sensor for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other 3.3V microcontroller projects. It communicates over I2C or SPI, so wiring is clean and code support is everywhere. Use it for weather stations, indoor air monitoring, altitude estimation (from pressure changes), and IoT dashboards where you want reliable real-world environment data without a complicated setup.

Product is falsely advertised. I received this product that is not pre-soldered. If I wanted to solder it myself, I could have paid less. Disappointed in getting a product that is not as described.

Buyer Beware if looking for SPI chip

The listing claims that it can do SPI mode, and I2C mode. This is not true, it can only do I2C mode with no mention of you needing to physically modify the board to use SPI mode.

The barometric pressure was off almost 5 inHg, so I compensate in my script. Temp and humidity was okay. What should one expect for an instrument that costs less than $10. If one want's accuracy, go spend >$50.#compensated like thisbarocal = 4.95 # barometric calibration offsetpressure = (data.pressure * .02953) + barocal # .02953 coverts to inHg

Despite other reviewers saying they received a bmp280 and or a unsoldered one, I can confirm I correctly received a BME280 pre-soldered exactly as described.
