KY-006 Passive Piezo Buzzer Module for Arduino

The KY-006 Passive Piezo Buzzer Module is a simple sound output module for Arduino projects that lets you generate beeps, tones, and melodies by driving it with a PWM signal. Because it is passive, you can control the frequency yourself, which makes it great for alarms, timers, button feedback, sensor alerts, and fun sound effects in STEM builds. It is a quick way to add audio feedback to projects without needing a speaker amplifier.

Because the element is passive, the pitch is entirely under your control: drive it with tone() on Arduino or any PWM output on ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico, and similar boards, and sweep frequencies for sirens, melodies, and alert patterns a fixed-tone active buzzer cannot produce. The compact three-pin module works with 3.3 V and 5 V logic and drops straight onto a breadboard or female jumper wires.
