Product Overview

A TP4056 single-cell charger with protection built in: the TP4056 charges a 3.7 V Li-ion, LiPo or 18650 cell at up to 1 A (set by R3 = 1.2 kΩ, adjustable from 130 mA) using constant-current then constant-voltage to 4.2 V ± 1%, and auto-recharges when the cell sags. A DW01A with dual 8205A MOSFETs adds over-discharge (about 2.4 V) and over-current (about 3 A) protection on the output.

Feed 4.5–5.5 V through the micro-USB port or the IN+/IN− pads, wire the cell to B+/B− and your load to OUT+/OUT−. A red LED shows charging, green/blue shows full. At about 28 × 17 mm it tucks into battery holders and enclosures for ESP32, Pico and Arduino projects. Single or 5-pack.

It can charge a single-cell 3.7V LiPo or Li-ion battery used in Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico, and similar portable builds. It is a charger module, not a voltage regulator, so your project still needs suitable power regulation.

Is this TP4056 charging board ready to use?

What battery and input does this TP4056 board need?
