The pre-soldered Blue Pill is paired with an ST-LINK V2 for SWD programming and debugging, plus a separate CP2102 USB-to-TTL UART adapter for serial messages and console communication. A 400-point solderless breadboard and 10cm jumper set support your connections. Use 3.3V signal levels, a common ground and one board power source, keeping the adapters' power outputs separate. A computer, development software and your own firmware are required to configure the project.

Frequently asked questions

They serve different purposes. ST-LINK V2 connects over SWD for firmware programming and on-chip debugging. The CP2102 USB-to-TTL UART adapter provides a separate serial connection for terminal messages, logging and console communication.
The kit includes a pre-soldered STM32F103C8T6 Blue Pill development board. It also includes a 400-point breadboard and 120 10cm jumper wires for prototyping its connections.
Use 3.3V signal levels, connect a common ground and choose one board power source. Do not connect the adapters' power outputs together.
The Blue Pill headers come pre-soldered, but you must wire the connections, set up development software and load your own firmware. The kit provides the hardware for programming, debugging and serial experiments.
You need a computer, compatible development software and your project firmware. Any additional USB cables, host adapters or external power source required by your setup are not included.
