Product Overview

Develop a connected light-sensing project with the ESP32 & BH1750 Light Sensor Prototyping Kit. The pre-soldered BH1750 provides digital ambient-light readings over I2C, while the 38-pin ESP32 board supplies the controller for your own logging or automation firmware. Its USB-C connection, CP2102 USB-to-serial interface and 4MB flash support ESP32 development. A matching 38-pin GPIO expansion breakout, 830-point breadboard and 20cm jumper wire set provide access for prototyping. Wire the sensor for 3.3V operation and configure the software yourself; the kit arrives as separate components.

Bundle value: Purchased separately, the included component variants total $33.20. This kit is $26.99, saving $6.21.

  • 1 × pre-soldered 38-pin ESP32 board, 4MB flash, CP2102 and USB-C
  • 1 × 38-pin ESP32 GPIO expansion breakout board
  • 1 × pre-soldered BH1750 digital light sensor
  • 1 × 830-point solderless breadboard
  • 1 × 120-piece, 20cm Dupont jumper wire set

Wiring, programming and a computer are required. Use 3.3V sensor connections with the ESP32. A USB-C data cable, power source, enclosure and project firmware are not included. The parts arrive as separate components for you to assemble and configure.
