Product Overview

The HX-2S-JH20 protects and balances a two-cell series pack (7.4 V nominal, 8.4 V full) of 18650 or other Li-ion cells. It handles 10 A continuous and about 15 A in short bursts, with per-cell over-charge cutoff at 4.25–4.35 V and over-discharge at 2.4–2.6 V. Passive balancing bleeds about 40 mA from the higher cell during charge so the pair stays matched, and quiescent draw is under 30 µA.

Charge the pack with an 8.4 V CC/CV charger through the pack terminals. The board is about 50 × 22 × 3.5 mm, rated −40 to +85 °C, and sits neatly beside a 2 × 18650 holder. For DIY battery packs, robots, LED lighting packs and small backup power builds.

Yes. This protection board is designed for 2-cell series lithium battery packs, including 2S 18650 packs with a 7.4V nominal voltage. It is not intended for single-cell or higher-series battery configurations.
This ShillehTek version is supplied pre-soldered to reduce assembly work, but the battery, charger, and load still must be wired correctly. Follow the board markings and use proper lithium battery safety practices during installation.
