The TF-Luna supports UART and I2C communication, making it suitable for embedded distance measurement where a LiDAR rangefinder is needed. Manufacturer-specified range is 0.2 to 8 m for 90% reflectivity indoors at 0 klux, while darker or lower-reflectivity targets and measurement conditions can reduce usable range. It measures one point at a time rather than scanning a whole room, and each sale unit includes one distance-sensor module.
